Mainly hardy Perennials, but some houseplants, annuals and others.
We've got pages of these and I refuse to count how many. Most of these are flowering plants, but some are foliage plants which don't fit in other categories. Our range is mainly hardy perennial, but there are others such as Daturas which must have winter protection and are usually grown indoors.

Many have as much value for perfume as they do for vision, and often the most striking visual and perfume effects can be produced by growing together with herbs.

Mix, match, span seasons.
Some flowers have a long flowering season, some will give several flushes a year. Others flower for a short spell only. But whatever, you can guarantee that as one flower ends its flush, another is breaking out. The range of colours available is enormous, and theme areas in colour are easy to produce.

Too often, flowers are considered as the border. Here, grown under a dwarf Eucalyptus (gregsoniana, normally no more than 4ft)cerastium, lonicera and berberis all conspire to bring a constant cascade of colour, changing through the year.

Don't ignore foliage and annuals
Seeded at almost any time of year in this area, many annuals will produce a good flush to cover those times when the rest of the garden is wilting. Even an August seeding can produce a late autumn crop in a mild year - that's most years, now. Mixed with foliage colour, such as this blood grass, cerastium (silver) and golden grass, you can produce colour and change all through the year

People matter. The Planet Matters. Plant Matters.
