You won't find convenience products, supermarket sytle retailing, perfect labelling and all that. What you will find is a couple of people who love what they are doing, learn from their experience and are happy to share that with you. Our nursery is a place where there is time -time for care, time for people, time for laughter, time for you.
We like good relationships with people and are on good terms with a number of good growers in this area. What we don't grow ourselves, we can usually find for our customers at a fair price. If you want to help put an end to rip off Britain, find the right sources and refuse to pay the prices asked by garden centres. As an example, we offer Japanese blood grass (imperata cylidrica Red baron) at prices starting from two pounds. One customer came in and complained he had been charged seven pounds fifty pence for a plant smaller than our smallest. Go direct to growers - top quality, bottom price.
If you think we can better what we do, either on the website or the nursery, please let us have your feedback. We are a couple of people doing our best, but unless you tell us what you want, we can't provide the service we would like to.
Improve the planet, and make a profit. There is a good living to be made from being good, not greedy.
